FAQ
No, it doesn’t. This training collar is remote activated so you are entirely in control of the training. If you want automatic bark detection, please consider our other product, the Woof Guard collar instead.
My dog is ignoring the beeps and vibration, help!
We hear your frustration! It sounds like you have a slightly stubborn dog and might need to spend some time to train them to understand the meaning of the beeps and vibration. This is what we suggest you do:
- 1) take off the collar for a week to give your dog some time to forget
- 2) train your dog during dedicated training sessions
- 3) put on the collar, adjust to the right level of tightness and test that the collar responds to the remote
- 4) whenever they bark, dig, jump o r chew (whatever behaviour you are trying to eliminate), activate the collar with your remote and give them a treat if they stop. Reinforce with a no if your dog appears to be confused by the collar. Keep repeating this until they stop barking (or stops the unwanted behaviour) when the collar beeps (without you telling her no) and keep up with the treats for few more times.
Quite often, some love and patience goes a long way.
